Dr. Eric Higgins is a native of the Anthracite Coal Region of Pennsylvania and a graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School. He attended Bucknell University where he was awarded a degree in biochemistry and earned three varsity letters playing football for the Bison. Dr Higgins Graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2005 and immediately began working as a dentist in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. After a year in the Lehigh Valley, he Joined Dr. Edward Geyer’s practice, in Harrisburg, which is now proudly Higgins Family Dentistry.
Dr. Higgins participates in numerous hours of continuing education programs each year, focusing on family, cosmetic and implant dentistry. This advanced training allows him to stay informed of the exciting new advances in modern dentistry. Dr. Higgins loves the way dentistry combines science and art. He is currently a member of the American Dental Society, Pennsylvania Dental Society, and Harrisburg Area Dental Society.
Outside the office, Dr. Higgins and his wife, Dr. Christine Higgins, a dentist in Hershey, stay busy with their two young boys, Jacob and Caleb. They enjoy the outdoors and take advantage of everything the Harrisburg area has to offer.
